Gareth is currently DJing for and managing the Swank Promotions outfit in Taiwan. The popularity of the early Swank events and the enthusiastic response to Gareth’s music was the inspiration he needed to start bringing in international DJs and work in coordination with many of Taiwan’s best clubs, lounge bars and restaurants. With fellow promoters and artists in Taiwan, he has helped build a dynamic music scene that continues to thrive. From 2002 and onwards, Gareth and his crew of impassioned artists have taken on numerous projects including a deep/tech house night dubbed D&G Housecats; a bi-annual warehouse party on the shores of Hualien; the Latex series of electro house; and most recently REVIVAL - a fundraiser for the Nature Conservancy. Gareth’s dynamic DJing, is constructed with well-adapted sets that fuse electro-rock, indie-dance, nu-disco and tech-house music. His track selections, mixing and programming bring you through an adventurous night of winding beats featuring tingling vocal selections and powerful reverberating bass lines. His objective is to deliver fresh, cutting edge music and maintain an energetic atmosphere for all. His most recent CD mix, Mayhem, was released in January 2007 and has been received with raving reviews. 7 years in to his DJ career and Gareth is continuing to make a name for himself throughout Taiwan, Asia and the world. He has performed on both sides of the Pacific including gigs in Canada, China, Thailand and Bali. He has also been invited to play at some of the most respected and popular events in Taiwan including ESPDJs’ Citrus events; Boogie’s Re:Action and 48hr RENU; Summer Aquarian and Spring Wave where over 29,000 people attended. Further, Gareth has had the privilege to represent and play alongside some of the biggest names in the industry including John Graham, Rithma, Johnny Fiasco, Hipp-E., James Zabiela, Azzido Da Bass, Hybrid, Ronski Speed, Tim Healey, Takkyu Ishino and many more talented artists.
